The plural form of 'virus' is 'viruses'. Much like a cold taking over a room full of snifflers, the 's' essentially 'infects' the end of 'virus', spreading to form 'viruses'. This rule applies to most nouns to make them plural in English. We add an 's' to the end of the word, like with 'cat' to 'cats', 'pen' to 'pens', and so on. It's like a little English magic trick, one turns into many just by adding an 's'! ✨
