2. Monsoon - Barsaat/बरसात: After the hot summers come the rainy season, known as 'barsaat' in Hindi. This season starts in June and ends in September. During this time, India faces heavy rainfall that brings much-needed relief from the scorching heat, but it also runs the risk of flooding in certain areas. People usually carry umbrellas or raincoats to keep themselves dry.
3. Winter - Sardi/सर्दी: The winter season in Hindi is called 'sardi' and begins from December and lasts until February. During this time, the temperatures can drop down to 0 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country. People wear warm clothes like sweaters, jackets, and shawls to protect themselves from the cold.
Apart from these three seasons, we also have a short spring season, known as 'vasant ritu/वसंत ऋतु,' which comes just before summer. This season is marked by blooming flowers and a pleasant weather.
